I find agbada very fascinating on men. They are perfect for when the man is getting married traditionally and they are spot on for a man with so much swag for any other occasion be it a friends wedding, naming ceremony or any traditional event, outing or occasion.
With fashion going back and forth like yoyo and been in an era where the women could wear what the men can, the agbada on women is a trend I am loving at the moment.
A lot of women are now embracing the trend. While most women wear the agbada dressed up with heels and makeup to make it more feminine, the agbada can be dress down too.
The good news about this trend is that you do not have to own one to wear one. All you have to do is to borrow what your Boo already own or that of your brother's. It is not what you've got, it is who you know.
Let's have a look at some gorgeous Iya Ekos sporting the agbada like a brother.
The ladies agbada can be paired with hats commonly called "fila" in the yoruba land. The hats can be matched to other accessories to tie the look together.
AGBADA COLOUR BURST
The abgada on women in a rich colour like purple is not only gorgeous but on trend as purple is one of the colours for this season.
ALL BLACK AGBADA
An all black ensemble is chic any day anytime. Wearing all black agbada is as chic as any other all black outfit. Pair yours with sunnies and some bold lips.
AGBADA FULL SET
A full set agbada is just over the top fabulous and I am loving it. Don't you just love a girl that is not afraid to stand out from the crowd?
LADY IN RED
I think been a star makes things even more fabulous. I am loving this red agbada set on Yemi Alade. She did it just like a brother but with feminine touch; she finished her look with red pout and gold high heeled sandals.
Agbada made from Ankara is super duper cute and I think you will love it too. I particularly love this number paired with an oversized clutch. This look is on point.
Let' see more ladies in chic agbada mix.
And that's it from me this week on women in Agbada trend. I hope you like my selection as much as I enjoyed putting them together for you.
The trend is up and coming and I think in the near future, it is going to be bigger .
